Kiri Gurd

Kiri Gurd is a Senior Administrative Associate for J-PAL Global, where she supports Faculty Directors Abhijit Banerjee and Ben Olken.

Prior to coming to J-PAL, Kiri was a lecturer in Sociology where she taught 20+ courses to over 1000 students. She was also a Faculty Ambassador at the Center for Innovation and Learning.

Kiri received her PhD in Sociology from Boston University and her MSc from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She also completed a Postdoctoral training at the University of South Florida as a Provost Fellow for Global Justice. 

She is driven by the idea of improving organizational and institutional efficacy in the service of human welfare and transformative social change.
