The Egypt Impact Lab seeks to strengthen the cost-effectiveness of Egypt’s poverty-reduction policies and initiatives.
The Egypt Impact Lab, established in 2022, is a strategic initiative of the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab Middle East and North Africa at the American University in Cairo and the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development. The EIL is made possible by support from founding partners, the Sawiris Foundation for Social Development and Community Jameel, with additional support from UNICEF Egypt. EIL is institutionalized within the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development to strengthen the cost-effectiveness of Egypt’s poverty-reduction policies and initiatives.
