Rahma Gheriany
Senior Policy and Communications Associate, J-PAL Middle East and North Africa
Rahma Gheriany is a Senior Policy and Communications Associate and Egypt Impact Lab (EIL) Coordinator at J-PAL Middle East and North Africa (J-PAL MENA). The EIL is a partnership between J-PAL MENA and the Ministry of Planning, and Economic Development in Egypt. In her role, she facilitates government partnerships, supports synthesizing global evidence into policy lessons, and promotes evidence-informed policymaking in the MENA region. She also supports work across the Firms and Finance sectors, as well as the urban portfolio.
Prior to joining J-PAL in 2023, she worked in urban development, supporting social enterprises, and on issues related to women and refugees.
Rahma holds a dual-degree bachelor’s in Political Science from London South Bank University and the British University in Egypt.
