Information Session on Two J-PAL North America Evaluation Incubator Opportunities

Webinar

Live via Zoom

J-PAL North America is accepting letters of interest for two Evaluation Incubators. The webinar will share information about our Evaluation Incubators, which provide direct opportunities for policymakers and practitioners to explore whether a randomized evaluation can assess the impact of their policies and programs. Through the Incubators, J-PAL North America staff equip service providers and state and local government agencies with technical support, flexible funding, and connections with J-PAL’s researcher network to design and develop ideas for randomized evaluations. Decision-makers, in turn, can use the evidence generated to improve and scale effective policies and programs to reach more people and promote wellbeing within their communities.

Organizations focused on housing stability and state and local governments working in any sector are encouraged to view the below webinar.

At this webinar, attendees were able to:

  • Learn more about the Evaluation Incubator and how to apply;
  • Hear from past Incubator participant, Shawn Watts of California's Shasta County Court System, on how they catalyzed a randomized evaluation through an Incubator that led to policy changes in their district;
  • Ask questions of J-PAL North America staff!

Learn more about the Housing Stability Evaluation Incubator and State and Local Evaluation Incubator calls for Letters of Interest, due October 17, 5:00 pm ET.
