UJALA Global Training Session for Farmer-Centric Initiative Leads
Overview
Building on the first 2025 edition of the Custom Training Program, UJALA will host a three-day, in-person training at the Africa Business School (ABS), University Mohammed VI Polytechnic (UM6P), in Rabat, Morocco. This edition will bring together partners from the broader UJALA implementing network and will equip them with the tools to integrate rigorous impact evaluation into program design, implementation, and results interpretation. This event also aims at fostering clearer communication and shared understanding between researchers and implementers.
The training will combine core lectures on randomized evaluations with interactive, practice-oriented sessions tailored to implementation realities. Participants will engage with case studies and implementation-focused discussions designed to bridge research design and field execution.
Program Focus
The 2026 edition will place greater emphasis on the implementation phase of evaluations, including:
- The role of implementation partners
- Field rollout challenges and coordination protocols
- Best practices for maintaining evaluation fidelity
- Ensuring operational readiness and partner alignment
This focus builds on lessons from ongoing UJALA-supported projects, where implementation dynamics have proven central to research success.
