Mohamed Mofreh

Mohamed Mofreh is a Research Operations Manager at J-PAL Middle East and North Africa at the American University in Cairo where he oversees research operations for ongoing projects and field studies. In this role, he focuses on coordinating field operations, ensuring data quality, and streamlining data collection systems. He also manages efforts to integrate digital solutions into research management, including developing dashboards and tools to support data-driven decision-making.

Prior to joining J-PAL in 2025, Mohamed worked at the Egyptian Food Bank, where he was the Head of the Operation Support Unit and Senior Project Supervisor. His work contributed to rigorous program evaluations carried out in partnership with international organizations including Food and Agriculture Organization and Sawiris Foundation for Social Development.

Mohamed holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Al-Azhar University, in addition to professional certifications in Project Management and Human Resources Management.
