Prachee Chandrashekhar Daithankar

Research Associate, J-PAL South Asia
Prachee Daithankar is a Research Associate at J-PAL South Asia. She is currently working on Maths and Reading Games Pilot Project in Pune, Maharashtra. She assists in designing these games for students in grades 1 and 2 as well as pilots them in six government schools in urban and rural areas of Pune.
Previously, she worked with Azim Premji Foundation initially as a Fellow and continued as a Resource Person after that. She worked on capacity building of government school and Anganwadi teachers, at scale. Her focus areas were Early Childhood Education (ECE), Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) in Primary grades and Mathematics education in Upper Primary grades. She also worked with adolescents and youths on Constitutional Values.
Prior to that, she worked in engineering roles in India and USA.
She holds a Masters degree in Telecommunication from University of Colorado Boulder, USA and a Bachelors degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from University of Pune, India. She also holds a Certificate in Management from S. J. Mehta School of Management, Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai, India.
