Ayoub Belhaj

Ayoub Belhaj is a Policy Manager at the UM6P-J-PAL Applied Lab for Agriculture (UJALA). In this role, he helps develop partnerships with governments, private sector actors, and civil society organizations, manage research competitions, and conduct evidence-to-policy communication and dissemination.

Prior to joining J-PAL, Ayoub worked with international development implementers such as DAI and FHI360, where he contributed to USAID, UK-FCDO, MEPI and EU-funded projects tackling democratic and institutional governance reforms, fostering entrepreneurship, and advancing local economic development in Morocco.

Ayoub holds a master’s degree in public law and political science from Mohammed V University of Rabat.
