Dalia Atallah
Policy Associate, J-PAL Europe
Dalia Atallah is a Policy Associate at J-PAL Europe, where she works to mobilise development actors and government partners around the use of evidence in policymaking. Her work focuses on translating rigorous research into actionable policy insights, supporting capacity building for evidence use, and fostering cross-sector collaboration to embed impact evaluation methodologies in public policy and the private sector.
Prior to joining J-PAL, Dalia worked across international development, philanthropy, and policy research on climate security, youth peacebuilding, and human rights. At Community Jameel, she supported strategic partnerships and a philanthropic and investment portfolio spanning health, education, culture, and food security initiatives. She also served as a Fellow at the United Nations University, contributing research on youth, peace, security, and climate governance within multilateral frameworks, and advised Acted in Sri Lanka. She also brings experience in grassroots advocacy and entrepreneurship in Armenia and Lebanon.
Dalia holds an dual MA in human rights and humanitarian policy from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs and in international security from Sciences Po’s Paris School of International Affairs.
She earned a BA in social sciences from Sciences Po and is fluent in English, Arabic, and French.
