Prerana Beebireddy

Prerana is a Research Associate at J-PAL South Asia.

She is a Graduate in Economics, Public Administration and Social Management from St. Francis College for Women, Hyderabad and Post-Graduate in Financial Economics from University of Hyderabad. She has been working with Steven Brownstone, Ph.D. student in Development Economics at UCSD, from July 2022 on an Agricultural Development Pilot Project based out of Telangana. As part of her work, she gained valuable knowledge about research from field level to Bureaucrats. She had the opportunity to design the project, execute, deal with the issues that came along from the officials, farmers, agricultural fields and data discrepancies. She is elated to be here at J-PAL South Asia and looking forward to more research, and more learning.
