Saurabh Bhajibhakare

Saurabh Bhajibhakare is the Director of Research at J-PAL South Asia, where he leads the office’s research portfolio. His work centres on building and strengthening systems that enable high-quality, policy-relevant evidence generation. In addition to overseeing the implementation of randomized evaluations, he focuses on driving the development of research infrastructure that evolves with research demands, ensures data integrity, and enables research management at scale.

Saurabh joined J-PAL South Asia in 2013 and holds a BSc in Biotechnology from VIT University and an MSc in Environmental Studies from TERI University, New Delhi.
