Research Associate, J-PAL South Asia
Atul Bharti is a Research Associate at J-PAL South Asia where he aids the Government of Bihar on their graduation approach to poverty alleviation program, Satat Jeevikoparjan Yojana.
Atul holds a Bachelor’s in Commerce from Ramjas College, University of Delhi and Master’s in Development Studies from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Hyderabad. Prior to joining J-Pal, he worked with Inclusion Economics India Centre at IFMR (formerly known as Evidence for Policy Design) as a research consultant and involved in D3 project and contributing in survey implementation and managing field activities. He has also worked with Aga Khan Foundation as a research associate under the project “Early Childhood Development” and was involved in primary field survey and data collection, analysis of primary data and report presentation.
