Research Associate, Morocco Innovation and Evaluation Lab, J-PAL Middle East and North Africa

Louise Dubois is a Research Associate at the Morocco Innovation and Evaluation Lab (MEL), where she supports the design, implementation, and analysis of research projects aimed at strengthening evidence-based policymaking in Morocco, particularly in the education sector.

Before joining J-PAL in 2025, she worked as a Research and Evaluation Analyst at the French Development Agency (AFD) in Paris, where she conducted an impact evaluation of protected areas on forest cover using satellite data. Previously, she served as a Research Analyst in the statistical department of the Ministry of the Interior, where she drafted a report on human trafficking.

She holds an engineering degree in Economics and Statistics with a specialization in Economic Policies and Dynamics from ENSAE Paris, as well as a Master’s in Sustainable Development and Environmental Economics from AgroParisTech.
