Hemanth Guthala is a Senior Manager (IDCA-Training) at J-PAL South Asia, based in Hyderabad, where he manages projects and fellowships under the India Climate and Health Data Capacity Accelerator. As a member of the Training group, he also supports strategic partnerships focused on advancing data systems and policy for governance and social impact.

Prior to joining J-PAL, Hemanth has experience across research think tanks, startups, NGOs, and advisories, where he specialises in managing systems built on public and administrative data.

Hemanth holds an MS in Quantitative Economics from ISI Delhi and a BSc in Economics from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata.
