Medhavi Hassija

Medhavi Hassija is a Policy Manager at J-PAL South Asia, where she supports the scale-up of the Gender Equity Curriculum through close collaboration with government partners, researchers, and implementation teams. 

Prior to J-PAL, she worked with organizations such as UNICEF, UNDP, NITI Aayog, and Pratham Education Foundation, as well as several grassroots NGOs and nonprofits, in over four countries. Her experience spans a range of thematic areas, including education reform, gender equality, disability inclusion, and digital development.

Medhavi holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs. She is also a graduate of the Young India Fellowship at Ashoka University and earned a Bachelor's degree in History from the University of Delhi.
