Pamela Jakiela

Pamela Jakiela is a Professor of Economics at Williams College and a non-resident fellow at the Center for Global Development. She conducts research on a range of development topics including gender, early childhood, and social protection, with a particular focus on survey design, measurement, and impact evaluation. She received a PhD in economics from UC Berkeley in 2008. Before joining Williams College, she held academic appointments at Washington University in St. Louis and the University of Maryland.

Pamela serves as Co-Chair of J-PAL's Gender sector.
