Eleanor (Ellie) Lewis

Eleanor Lewis is the Senior Communications, Policy, and Research Associate to the Executive Director at J-PAL Global. She supports Global Executive Director Iqbal Dhaliwal as he works with the Board of Directors and the leadership of J-PAL's seven regional offices to drive J-PAL’s mission forward. She also supports the global communications team to promote evidence-informed policymaking and works with the policy team to write policy publications, conduct policy outreach for evidence dissemination, and cultivate new research partnerships.

Prior to joining J-PAL in 2022, Eleanor served as the Assistant Communications Director and Social Media Director for a U.S. Senatorial campaign. She has also worked to advance access to quality education and the outdoors.

Eleanor graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor’s degree in history with an emphasis in international policy and a minor in publishing. She also earned a credential in Data Analytics from the University of Chicago.
