Emma Stroupe

Communications Associate, J-PAL Global
Emma Stroupe is a Communications Associate at J-PAL Global. As a member of the Policy and Communications team, she focuses on global strategic communication across sectors and regional offices to promote evidence-informed policymaking.
Prior to joining J-PAL in 2025, Emma worked as a Legislative Intern for Congressman Hank Johnson, a Writing Intern at the White House Office of Presidential Correspondence, and a Communications and External Affairs Intern at Arnold Ventures. She also works on a research project at Brown University with Professor Wendy Schiller that examines the relationship between federal grantmaking and domestic violence prevention legislation.
Emma holds a BA in international and public affairs on the development track from Brown University.
