Julián Arturo Zenteno Santibáñez
Julián A. Zenteno Santibáñez is a Research Associate at J-PAL LAC, where he works on research projects led by J-PAL affiliates Natalia Rigol and Ben Roth. These projects involve experimental evaluations of microfinance, conducted in collaboration with Fondo Esperanza, as well as other initiatives focused on entrepreneurship in low-income countries and the design and targeting of financial products.
Prior to joining J-PAL in 2025, Julián worked as a Research Assistant in finance at Universidad de Chile. His investigations primarily focused on corporate sustainability, the social impacts on markets, and the influence of uncertainty and geopolitical risk on firms.
His research interests encompass development, sustainable finance, and derivative assets. Julián holds a bachelor's degree in economics and a master's in finance from the Universidad de Chile.
