Jacobus Cilliers is an associate teaching professor at Georgetown University. His research focus is on improving the quality of education in developing countries. Jacobus completed his M.Phil (distinction) and PhD in economics at the University of Oxford, where he was funded by the Rhodes Scholarship.
Jacobus serves as a mentor to J-PAL regional scholars.
