Research Manager, J-PAL South Asia

Tanisha Ghosal is a Research Manager at J-PAL South Asia, where she leads gender-focused interventions such as the Taaron ki Toli (TkT) project in Haryana, a school-based intervention focused on building awareness of gender-based discrimination, promoting gender-equitable attitudes, and enabling adolescents to translate these changes into behavior. She has also worked on the TkT Scaleup portfolio across states, supporting the expansion of evidence based interventions at scale.

Prior to joining J-PAL, she worked as a Research Associate at the Indian School of Business.

Tanisha holds an MSc in Economics from the University of Warwick and a BSc in Economics from the University of Calcutta. She was awarded the Shiv Nath Prize by the University of Warwick for outstanding performance in Development Economics.
