Yassmine Lotfi
Policy, Communications, and Training Associate, J-PAL Middle East and North Africa
Yassmine is a Policy, Communications, and Training Associate at the Egypt Impact Lab (EIL). The EIL is a partnership between J-PAL Middle East and North Africa and the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development in Egypt. In this role, she supports the education and environment, energy, and climate change sectors, working closely with policymakers, donors, and practitioners to facilitate the use of rigorous evidence in the planning and execution of development programs.
Prior to joining J-PAL MENA in 2025, she worked as a Research and Insights Consultant at Synerjies Center for International and Strategic Studies where she worked on various projects focused on research, policy, and data visualization in sustainable development, education, labour market, and investments and trade.
Yassmine is currently pursuing a Msc. International Political Economy in Cairo University, and holds a Bsc. Economics from London School of Economics - University of London.
