Sagar Swain

Sagar Chandra Swain is a Project Associate currently working in the Payment Governance Research Program (DBT HFM) project in Bhubaneswar.

He has spent nearly a decade with J-PAL South Asia from 2015 to 2024, contributing to a wide array of projects spanning sectors such as Labor Market, Education, Agriculture, Finance, and Firms. Notable projects include OLM, CASTE, ILT, PADIF, SSRP, and DBT-HFM, all of which have made significant strides in addressing socio-economic challenges in Odisha. 

Additionally, Sagar played a pivotal role in the SBR project in Bhatinda, Punjab, further expanding his expertise and impact across different regions and sectors.

Sagar holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from Utkal University, Vani Vihar, Bhubaneswar.
