Each year, J-PAL Africa runs a three-part webinar series providing information on pursuing graduate study abroad. The first webinar, held in April, provided guidance on how to prepare for a graduate program in Economics abroad. The second and third webinars are coming up in September and will provide information on how to put together a competitive application for a Masters or PhD program in Economics, Public Policy or related fields in North America and Europe. Panelists include admissions faculty from top schools in the US, Canada, UK and continental Europe. They will provide general and school-specific tips to help the prospective students submit a more successful application. They will also answer questions about the admission requirements, the structure of the programs, and the availability of funding.

Please email Yanang Silas-Bossan if you have any questions.

There is a single application form for both events. Applications close on Friday, September 15, 2023, at 11:59 pm GMT+2. Selection of participants will be made by Monday, September 18, 2023.
