Gayathri Sowrirajan

Gayathri Sowrirajan is a Research Manager at the Social Networks Lab and oversees projects across thematic areas including climate adaptability, labour markets, and health.

She joined J-PAL South Asia as a Research Associate (Data) at the Innovations in Data and Experiments for Action (IDEA Lab), and has since contributed to scoping studies, randomized evaluations, and analyses of government schemes using administrative data across themes including gender, social protection, and health systems.

Gayathri holds a Master's degree in Social Research (Quantitative) from the University of Edinburgh and an Integrated Master's in Development Studies from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
