Nada Rostom is a Research Associate at J-PAL MENA where she works on evaluating the impact of a program targeting irregular migration in Egypt in collaboration with the Egyptian Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (MSMEDA).

Prior to joining J-PAL in 2021, she worked  as a teaching assistant at the British University in Egypt (BUE), as a market researcher with several Egyptian start-ups, and as a research assistant for different projects related to food insecurity, climate change and labor market dynamics.

Nada holds a Master’s degree (MSc.) in Development Economics from the University of Goettingen  and a dual Bachelor’s degree in Economics  from Loughborough University and the British University in Egypt.
