Aminatou Seydou

Aminatou is a policy associate at J-PAL Africa. She is currently working on the Girls’ Education and Empowerment portfolio. Before joining J-PAL, Aminatou worked with the French Development Agency (Agence Française de Développement) on female entrepreneurial projects in Africa. She also worked with other entities including Afrobarometer and International Rescue Committee as project assistant. She co-founded a youth-led association in Niger aiming to support orphans and people with disabilities. Aminatou holds an MA in international development from Sciences Po Paris and a BA in international development from Michigan State University. She is also an alumna of the Mastercard Foundation scholarship program.
