Olivia Bryan
Policy Associate, J-PAL Global
Olivia Bryan is a Senior Policy Associate at J-PAL Global, where she helps manage the US$60 million Evidence for AI in Health (EVAH) initiative supporting rigorous evaluations of AI-enabled health tools ready for use in health systems in LMICs. In this role, she coordinates with donors, NGOs, and academics to generate real-world evidence on where AI tools add value and how they can be safely and responsibly integrated into health systems at scale. As a member of the Policy and Communications group, Olivia builds partnerships between researchers and implementers interested in evaluating their programs.
Olivia previously supported the Gender sector's Gender and Economic Agency Initiative (GEA)—a portfolio of more than 50 research projects focused on identifying and advancing innovations to strengthen women’s economic agency.
Prior to joining J-PAL in 2025, Olivia worked for the Massachusetts Senate Committee on Ways and Means, where she managed a US$5 billion public health, mental health, and disability services budget portfolio for the Massachusetts state budget.
Olivia graduated cum laude from the University of California, San Diego with a BA in Economics and Political Science with a concentration in International Relations (High Honors).
