Julia Chabrier is a Senior Policy Manager for J-PAL North America and manages the J-PAL State and Local Innovation Initiative. In these roles, she writes policy publications, helps forge new research partnerships, and conducts policy outreach and capacity building, particularly among state and local governments. Prior to joining J-PAL North America, Julia worked in the Massachusetts Executive Office for Administration and Finance, where she managed the state's pay for success initiatives and provided analysis for policy initiatives related to long-term fiscal planning, revenue, and retiree benefits. Julia has also worked as a public school teacher and in teacher education. She holds an M.P.P. from the Harvard Kennedy School, an M.S.T. in Childhood Education from Pace University, and a B.A. in Political Economy from Williams College.
