Muhammad Ivan Mahardika

Research Associate, J-PAL Southeast Asia

Muhammad Ivan Putra Mahardika is a research associate at J-PAL Southeast Asia where he works on social protection program policy in Indonesia, including the Raskin Reform project. Prior to joining J-PAL Southeast Asia, he was an intern at J-PAL Southeast Asia where he assisted an exploratory study on microequity financing for microenterprises in the Greater Jakarta Region. Previously, he has interned at Edelman Indonesia and World Resources Institute, Indonesia.

Ivan holds a bachelor's degree in international relations from Universitas Indonesia. He majored in international political economy and was a teaching assistant to international political economy thought course. During his college years, he was the President of the Indonesian Student Association for International Studies (ISAFIS) and led the Indonesia delegation to the Youth Innovation Competition on Global Governance (YICGG) organized by Fudan University and UNDP China.
