Poppy Widyasari

Putu Poppy Aimy Widyasari is the Associate Director of Research at J-PAL Southeast Asia, where she leads the research vertical which include overseeing all the research projects developed and implemented. She has over 5 years of experience in managing, leading and working on various randomized evaluations and conducting numerous engagements for collaboration with diverse research partners. She joined J-PAL Southeast Asia as a Research Associate in 2016.
Poppy holds a BA in economics having majored in business management from Bakrie University where she graduated with the highest GPA in her year. She also holds a master's degree in international and development economics from The Australian National University where she was awarded the Helen Hughes Prize in Master of International and Development Economics for achieving the highest overall aggregate result in her graduating class.
