Affiliated with the 15th-century University of Bordeaux, the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) and National Research Institute for Agriculture, Food and Environment (INRAE), and a founding member of IPORA, the Bordeaux School of Economics (BxSE) is one of France’s well-established economic research centers, combining academic excellence with a strong commitment to policy-relevant research.
In spring 2026, ADEPT welcomed BxSE as a new pathway university within the network. BxSE recognizes the DEDP MicroMasters credential for advanced standing in its Master’s in Development Economics (EADD track). Students admitted to BxSE will receive academic credit worth 30 ECTS for having successfully completed the DEDP MicroMasters credential, waiving the entire first semester of the two-year program and reducing both time on campus and associated costs.
The program is partly taught in French and features low tuition fees, making this pathway a compelling opportunity for DEDP learners across the francophone world to leverage their MicroMasters credential, while enabling BxSE to continue enriching its vibrant community with talented learners.
