Our affiliated professors are based at over 120 universities and conduct randomized evaluations around the world to design, evaluate, and improve programs and policies aimed at reducing poverty. They set their own research agendas, raise funds to support their evaluations, and work with J-PAL staff on research, policy outreach, and training.

Esraa Abdel Rahman is a Research Operations Associate at J-PAL MENA.
Before joining J-PAL in 2022, she worked as a Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist in several projects related to labor market assessment, women empowerment, and social protection.
Esraa is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Social Anthropology From Helwan University.
