Noha Adel

Noha Adel is a Research Manager at J-PAL Middle East and North Africa where she works on a project that evaluates the impact of various types of micro equity on the income and living standards of small farmers. Additionally, she is currently working on an evaluation that examines the effects of different interest rates on individuals' business development, decision-making, and repayment behaviors.

Prior to joining J-PAL in 2023, she worked as a research assistant to Professor Adam Osman, where she contributed to evaluating the impact of digital marketing on the growth of small and medium enterprises. Prior to that, she served as a Senior Economic Researcher at the Egyptian Center for Public Opinion Research and worked at the Technical Office of the Minister of Planning, Monitoring, and Administrative Reform.

Noha holds an Masters of Science in Economics from the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo University, where she also earned her Bachelor of Science in Economics.
