William AMEDANOU is a Predoctoral Research Assistant at J-PAL Europe, where he supports various research projects led by Professor Karen Macours.

Before joining J-PAL in 2025, he worked as a Research Assistant on several projects, including an evaluation of an internet-based recommender system designed to improve firms' apprentice hiring and training decisions at Dares. He also interned at the MIT Department of Economics, working on RCTs studying the adoption and productivity impacts of digital payment technologies in Dakar’s informal transit sector.

William holds a Master's degree in Public Policy and Development from the Paris School of Economics, and a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from ENSAE Dakar.
