Kate Christie is a Policy and Research Associate at J-PAL North America. Kate supports the policy and research teams in providing technical assistance to implementing partners and disseminating key findings and policy insights across several sectors. Kate also supports education leaders in launching randomized evaluations to identify teaching strategies that promote student learning.
Kate holds a BA from Dartmouth College where she studied quantitative social sciences with a concentration in education. Prior to joining J-PAL North America in 2023, Kate worked on the Education Strategies team at Public Consulting Group supporting equity, strategic planning, and literacy initiatives for school districts, state education agencies, and university research centers. During her undergraduate studies, she worked as a Research Assistant in the Department of Quantitative Social Sciences supporting various education and public policy projects.
