Patricio Dalton is a Professor of Development and Behavioral Economics at Tilburg University, where he also serves as coordinator for the European Network on Training in Economic Research. His research focuses on the interaction between poverty and economic decision-making.

Patricio also serves as a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of the National Institute Economic Review in the United Kingdom and representative for the Netherlands at the Society for the Advancement of Behavioral Economics. He is the co-founder of the Network of Development Economists in the Netherlands and is affiliated with IPA, IGL, the CAGE Research Center, TIBER, and the European Banking Center. Prior to joining Tilburg University, he held positions at the Argentine Ministry of Economy and the Inter-American Development Bank.

Patricio holds a PhD in economics from the University of Warwick.
