Senior Research Associate, J-PAL Middle East and North Africa Initiative
Farida El-Gueretly is a Senior Research Associate at J-PAL where she works on education-related research and policy outreach in Egypt and the broader Middle East region. She is currently working on the Targeting the Ultra Poor program in collaboration with the Sawiris Fund for Social Development. Prior to joining J-PAL in 2018, she worked at the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt, Ashoka Arab World, and Mavericks Schools.
Farida holds a master's in international education policy from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a bachelor's of arts in international development studies from McGill University.
