Noha ElBarbary

Noha El Barbary is a Policy Associate at J-PAL Middle East and North Africa where she works on forming partnerships with the private sector while promoting a culture of evidence-informed policymaking to help them in applying evidence from randomized evaluations to their work, and ultimately advancing the education sector in Egypt and the Middle East and North Africa region. 

Prior to joining J-PAL in 2023, she worked as an Economist at the Ministry of Finance, at the Macro-Fiscal Policy department, focusing mostly on advancing Egypt's fiscal policies. 

Noha holds a MSc in International Social and Public Policy from the London School of Economics and Political Science
