Bhavneet Kaur

Bhavneet Kaur is a Research Associate at J-PAL South Asia, where she supports research and field implementation for projects in Punjab, including initiatives related to technology-enabled learning and large-scale education interventions. She also contributes to a school-based behavioral intervention focused on substance use prevention among adolescents.

Previously, she worked at San Francisco State University as a Research Assistant in Applied Economics Research and AI Pedagogy, a Research Assistant in International Macroeconomic Sanctions, a Health Equity Research Intern, and a Grader in the Department of Economics. Her research experience spans international trade, capital controls, fertility patterns, and applied econometric analysis, with extensive work in data cleaning, statistical modeling, and policy-oriented research.

She holds a master’s degree in Quantitative Economics from San Francisco State University and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Bengaluru.
