Jaina Manish Haran

Jaina M Haran (she/her) is a Research Associate at J‐PAL South Asia, based in Mysore, Karnataka. She works on evaluating the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) scheme, focusing on challenges in its implementation and identifying measures to strengthen the operation and maintenance of water infrastructure in the state.

Prior to joining J‐PAL, Jaina worked at the Centre for Research in Schemes and Policies (CRISP), and has also contributed to campaigns addressing gender justice and climate action.

Jaina holds an MA in economics from the University of Mysore.
