Lulu Qonita
Policy Associate, J-PAL Southeast Asia
Lulu Qonita is a Research Associate at J-PAL Southeast Asia. She is currently working on the Fuel Subsidy project. Before working at J-PAL, she was a Research Assistant to several NYU professors, working on various gender, labor economics, and migration projects. Her capstone project on Indonesian migrant women workers in the United Arab Emirates was nominated for the Best Capstone Award.
Lulu graduated from New York University Abu Dhabi with a BA in Social Research and Public Policy. She minored in Social Entrepreneurship at NYU Stern School of Business and NYU Wagner School of Public Service. After graduation, she became the Dean’s Fellow, working with the university’s senior leadership team on various diversity, equity, and inclusion projects.
