Tobias Salz

Tobias Salz is the Castle Krob Career Development Associate Professor of Economics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His research interest is industrial organization with focuses on platforms, digital markets, transportation, and artificial intelligence.

He also serves as a faculty research fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research and is affiliated with MIT’s Blueprint Labs. Prior to joining MIT, Tobias was an assistant professor of economics at Columbia University.

Tobias holds a PhD in economics from New York University.
