Dev Manish Sanghvi

Dev Sanghvi is a Research Associate at J-PAL South Asia. He works on the Demand for Cooling project in Mumbai, which studies household air-conditioning usage and supports energy-efficient cooling practices.

Prior to joining J-PAL, he worked on applied research projects with faculty and PhD students in the Economics Department at UC San Diego across development, behavioral, and education economics. He has also interned at NITI Aayog and the International Data Corporation.

Dev holds a Bachelor’s degree with a double major in Applied Mathematics and Economics from the University of California, San Diego.
