Mehar Saxena

Mehar Saxena is a Research Associate at J-PAL South Asia where she works on the “Debt Recovery, Information Provision, and Legal Counseling for Firms: Experimental Evidence from Courts in India”.

Prior to joining J-PAL in 2026, she worked at the University of

Cambridge with Prof. Iyer on the SCORE Strand III Project.

Mehar holds an Advanced Diploma in Economics from the University of Cambridge, MIT DEDP Micromasters credential in International Development and completed her BA Economics (Hons) from Dayalbagh Educational Institute.
