Prachi Shukla

Research Support Assistant, J-PAL South Asia

Prachi Shukla is a Research Support Assistant at J-PAL South Asia based in Mumbai where she is working on an intervention testing labour market outcomes (PIs: Gaurav Chiplunkar, Erin Kelley, Gregory Lane). 

Before this project, she was an intern with J-PAL in Delhi’s Math Games Project (PIs: Esther Duflo and Elizabeth Spelke) where she was a part of their endline operations. Prior to joining J-PAL, she worked in the grants management team of Save The Children International in London, and previously interned in the Reserve Bank of India’s International Department and NITI Aayog’s Office of the CEO. Prachi holds a masters in Development Studies with a focus on economic policy analysis from the London School of Economics, and a bachelors in Economics and Sociology from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai. Her research interests lie in the fields of gender and education.
