Namitha Sadanand

Policy and Training Associate, J-PAL South Asia

Namitha Sadanand is a Policy and Training Associate at J-PAL South Asia, where she assists in the efforts to promote evidence-based policymaking as well as build capacity for monitoring and evaluation in the region. Prior to joining J-PAL in September 2017, she pursued her master's degree in Development Studies at the London School of Economics and Political Science, where she was part of a two-member team assisting the Sphere Project, Geneva in the revision of humanitarian relief performance standards for protracted crises. While pursuing her bachelor's degree in economics at St Stephen's College, New Delhi, she was part of a team conducting primary research to understand the links between religious preferences and sanitary practices, using data from 300 households in New Delhi.
