Will Dobbie

Will Dobbie is an Assistant Professor of Economics and Public Affairs at Princeton University and a research fellow at the Education Innovation Laboratory at Harvard University. He holds a joint appointment with the Department of Economics and the Woodrow Wilson School, and is a faculty associate of the Industrial Relations Section. His research focuses on the causes and consequences of poverty in the U.S. His recent work has studied racial bias in the criminal justice system, the labor market consequences of bad credit reports, and the long-run effects of charter schools.

Will received a BA in economics from Kalamazoo College, an MA in economics from the University of Washington, and a PhD in public policy from Harvard University.
