Markus Frölich is a Professor of Econometrics at the University of Mannheim, Director of the Center for Evaluation and Development (C4ED), and Guest Professor at the University of St. Gallen. His research interests include policy evaluation, microeconometrics, labor economics, and development economics. His work focuses on the evaluation of interventions and policies in developing countries, primarily in the areas of labor economics, economics of education, health economics, and environmental economics. He also works on the development of nonparametric methods for treatment effect analysis.
Markus received his PhD in economics from the University of St. Gallen.
