Smart Together: Advancing Targeted Digital Financing And Group Management Dynamics For Inclusive Agricultural Productivity And Prosperity In Nigeria

This project assesses the potential of the i-AgriBroom app to improve smallholder farmers’ access to affordable and reliable agricultural inputs in Nigeria. The platform integrates digital identity verification, financial services, and group purchasing tools to help farmers pool resources and negotiate better prices. The research aims to identify the technical, behavioral, and infrastructural factors that influence adoption, including digital literacy, connectivity, and trust in digital systems. Insights from this work will inform the design of future evaluations to measure how digital tools like i-AgriBroom can enhance agricultural productivity, input affordability, and farmer resilience.
